ZANU PF out of ideas.... as they arrest Deputy Youth President

MDC Youth Assembly deputy President and candidate for Budiriro constituency Costa Machingauta has been arrested and is currently detained at Harare Central Police Station.

The deputy youth president was chased all the way from Budiriro into town by suspected ZANU PF hooligans. The suspects shot the rear left tyre of his vehicle near Nazareth Hospital. Machingauta managed to control the car and drove to Harvest House. He then went to report the matter at Harare Central Police station where he was surprisingly locked up on false allegations of having assaulted members of the former ruling party.

The police have also arrested two other members of the MDC from Budiriro. The two are currently being held at Glen View police station. They were arrested by police officers in Budiriro while putting up Machingauta’s posters.

There has been an upsurge of politically motivated violence and intimidation following the proclamation of the harmonized elections scheduled for the 31st of July 2013.

ZANU PF has run out of ideas and programs as annunciated by their dry and primitive manifesto. They now resort to the old fashioned way of campaigning, instilling fear in people.
